We have just purchased a property by Lake Ontario, and I'd like to share my experience for those looking for a trustworthy adviser in real estate. Now I am writing this post at the comfort of my house, where my neighbors are gorgeous and schools are the best fit to our needs. In addition, this house is in a great condition and will surely appreciate down the road since Ruchi managed to negotiate for a great deal---one of the lowest sold price in the block. I'd begin with (1.) WHY we chose to work with her in the first place, (2.) our HOUSE VIEWING experience, and (3.) then her extraordinary SERVICE and genuine CARE AFTER CLOSING. 

(1.) WHY RUCHI? We got to know Ruchi when she showed us a rental unit that we didn't end up renting about a year ago. We were also very keen to buy a house then, but she had genuinely advised the situation and convinced us to wait until we became familiar with the city and our needs. In contrast, most other realtors we met around the same period wanted us to buy a house right away. Trusting Ruchi and taking her advice turned out to be the best decision we had ever made. She worked with great people that helped us with mortgage, house inspection, renovation, and legal matters. You'll see why as I elaborate on the house viewing experience next, which made her so unique and extraordinary.
(2.) HOUSE VIEWING. There were three things I'd like to highlight. FIRST, after knowing our availability, she reserved all the time slots to accommodate accordingly. SECOND, she was very analytical on the value of the house. For example, there was a house that we really liked and were willing to pay more 2% to 5% for it. However, she still did a thorough research and advised the value of the house, about 10% less of the asking price, or about 15% of how much we were willing to pay for it. In addition, she took the initiative to research the property, the community and the school as well. That gave us the whole picture, so we decided to walk away. We later found that the house was sold at exact the price Ruchi had estimated. THIRD, she did a great job negotiating. We bought a house in a superb neighborhood by Lake Ontario with friendly and caring neighbors, great schools, and a huge park just steps away. She negotiated for such a great price, one of the lowest in the neighborhood.
(3.) AFTER CLOSING. It's the end for most other realtors my friends and colleagues had worked with. However, my story carried on here. She found us the best real estate law firm, which explained the closing process in a great detail and answered all the questions we had. Ruchi and I visited the property 3 days and 1 day before closing. She noticed some issues and worked that out with the seller. Ruchi came again on the day of closing and checked all the appliances and the property with me in such a great detail that I would certainly have had missed if I were to do it alone. She had been very resourceful when it came to renovation contractors as well. After we had eventually moved in and settled down, she again came to check on us, and offered to help if we ever needed any further support. 
THINKING BACK, it was our best and most fortunate decision to trust Ruchi for our single largest investment. You shall too : )
